In May 2019, Metro expanded its footprint to Chengdu, China, with the acquisition of a 25% stake in a prime LEED® Gold certified commercial mall (“The Atrium Mall”), that is part of a landmark mixed-use development, The Atrium (“晶融汇”).
It is located in the heart of Chengdu’s CBD and the Dacisi business corridor, close to the Chunxi (“春熙路”) and the Hong Xing Road pedestrian malls such as Taikoo Li (“太 古里”) Chengdu. The Atrium Mall is well connected by 2 train stations and over 20 bus lines.
Leasing activities are underway.
