Listed on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST since 1973 and headquartered
in Singapore, Metro is a property investment and development group
with net assets of S$1.5 billion as at 31 March 2023 and a turnover of
S$117.2 million for the financial year ended 31 March 2023. Founded
in 1957 by the late Mr Ong Tjoe Kim who started out with a textile
store along High Street, the Group today operates two core business
segments – property investment and development, and retail. It is
focused on five key markets, namely, Singapore, China, Indonesia, the
UK and Australia.
